About the MPGSA
The Membrane Protein Graduate Students’ Association was established in 2004 with the purpose of unifying and supporting graduate students in the Group throughout their academic programs. The organizing committee is made up of volunteer student representatives (reps) under the supervision of the Director of the MPRG, and usually meet once a month throughout the year. MPGSA’s annual events include the summer BBQ, the Christmas party, as well as the Students’ Research Day where we host an invited outside speaker. Also, MPGSA is responsible for gathering feedback and concerns from graduate students, and communicating those inputs to the PIs.
